Graduation

On December 19, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in accounting. When Glen began working for IWU, one of his benefits was free tuition for his household. I knew I needed to finish my degree. I loved the flexibility of the online program. I had to take off once Maddy was born, so it took me almost three years to finish up, taking one very intense course at a time. So glad it's done!

Even though graduation was one week before Christmas, my mama was determined to be there. I was thrilled when it worked out for Jordan to bring her out, since he was in PA for the holidays.

Making Christmas Cookies: Mama vs. Daddy

Do you see a difference?????

Something tells me they had way more fun with Daddy!

Obviously out-dated pictures: First snow of the season

Why is it that it takes a half an hour to get kiddos ready to go outside (at least the first time), only for them to come back in less than an hour later??? :)

The eye roll: "You want me to do what???"

Just like my daddy--always a book in my hand!

3-month-old pics--Trying to get a Christmas-card picture

On the last night of our Christmas musical at church, I decided it was time to get a Christmas picture (while they were all actually looking decent at the same time!). I felt like I was pulling teeth to get all three kids looking at the camera simultaneously. Here are just a few. Some show exactly why I was sweating and frustrated by, oh, two pictures in. I probably snapped 50 pics altogether, but I'll spare you that.

4-month-old pictures--Thanksgiving

So I finally uploaded a whole bunch of pictures, and I hope to get some of them blogged in the next few days (weeks? months?). We celebrated Thanksgiving at my lovely cousin Melanie's lovely new home. Grandma and Granddad, Mom, Aunt Pam and Uncle RB, and Emily were all there, so with kids there was a grand total of 16.

Beautiful table. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture before we started to load on the food. The centerpieces Melanie made were gorgeous.
Ah.
